Yearning for Life – A Poem

I often find myself in a place of longing.

Longing for a place I have yet to experience.

Longing for a place I’ve never been.

At least.. not in this life.

I often find myself in a place of needing.

Needing the air, the earth, the water.

Needing the touch of one that I once knew.

The me I once was.

I often find myself in a place of yearning.

Yearning for a life long passed.

Yearning for a life once lived.

Yearning… for life once more.

Rain Is Coming

Poem by Kaimera Orion

Just slightly now
The rain it fell.
My senses perked up
With the refreshing smell.

The birds, the bees
The spiders fled.
Into the trees, brush
& nearby sheds.

But what was next
I would not know.
The grass & flowers
Began to blow.

That sweetest scent
When contact came.
Between the greens
& drops of rain.

They spoke a language
No one knew.
The blades of grass
Two by two.

They said hello
Into the air.
Rain is coming
Won’t you share?
