My Copper Spiral Experiment

Both copper and spirals have a special place in the metaphysical and healing world. One is a naturally occurring metal that heals on every level, holistically, mind, body, soul. The other is a naturally occurring shape that is found throughout nature, the universe, and plays a significant role in the histories of mankind.

I have always been drawn to spirals and when I was 13 I was introduced to energy and how all things are connected. The spiral represents the movement of energy, the flow that is engrained in all things, the essence within all things. it is also a symbol of the journey one takes through life from start to finish or from birth to enlightenment. It is often found in nature, the shape that plants make as they sprout and grow. It is found within the creation of some of life’s animals like sea creatures with spiraled shells and others. It is even found in the universe and the stars as galaxies twist and constantly move. It is even found within many facets of the human body on a physical and metaphysical level. Life is constantly moving, it is energy, moving spiraled energy.

There are many references regarding spirals. Some believe it represents the relationship with a higher power, some believe it to represent the relationship with your higher self and the journey you take to reach that aspect of yourself. Some believe it represents life, death, rebirth, the cycle of reincarnation. No matter the belief, the aspect that all share is that it is a symbol of growth and it is a truly powerful symbol.

Copper is a naturally occurring metal and it has been worn by many throughout history and by many different cultures. When you read about it’s properties and benefits, it really is no wonder why it has been worn for so long and by so many.

Copper is naturally conductive when it comes to heat, electricity, and even spiritual energy which is why it does so much for the human body and energy field. It is a powerful cleanser of the aura and just as powerful as a re-energizer and bringer of vitality. When you wear copper, it cleanses the body of toxins. On a physical level, it has been used to heal wounds and to stave off infection. It is also helpful in balancing the metabolism and circulatory system. It helps your blood flow as it should, bringing oxygen to your blood, and that in itself is a powerful physical healer. It also cleanses the aura and helps your physical, subtle, and energetic bodies align and rebalance. It releases blockages, raises consciousness, and even amplifies thought. If you are working on your mental strength and abilities, copper could be a good ally! As you align with copper, your ability to work spiritually flows more freely.

Copper is also said to bring luck and clarity to ones life. When your physical and energetic body is cleansed and becomes balances, all aspects of ones life improve. Some say that wearing copper allows them to see their lives more clearly and to see their path with new eyes. It helps us to see the blockages in our lives and then helps us to clear them away.

Now, when you combine the powerful healing energy of copper and the symbolism of the spiral, that is one powerful combination. These are only a few examples for both the spiral and for copper and all of their meanings and benefits. The list goes on and on.

I’ve been drawn lately to create my own spiral pendant or charm that will be my constant reminder to keep working on myself and to strengthen my own life energy. I had made a small one with some silver coated copper when that was all I had. Today, I was able to get my hands on some pure copper and was able to spiral it to my hearts content. It may not be the prettiest thing, since it was my first try, but I am proud of my creation. The process and the outcome were both very powerful!

I have been wearing it now for a few hours and I have already seen a difference. I knew copper was powerful, but WOW. During that time, I have personally felt to have more energy and motivation. After a morning of feeling drained and agitated, I felt uplifted. I worked out, cleaned the kitchen, cleaned the bathroom, put laundry away, and all before I had to go to work, with energy left to spare! The inspiration I have also felt has been incredible. I felt a NEED to share this information and instead of sitting with “Writer’s Block” or a struggle to find the words, they have come naturally during this entire writing process. Like a muse has been sitting on my shoulder.

Now, I know that when wearing copper, it can disagree with your skin turning it green. I am hoping that I can avoid that experience, but I am aware that it may happen. While wearing it as well, the skin on my chest has felt warm. Could be the conductivity and my body interacting with the copper. I will be keeping an eye on this, as well as my energy, mood, and mental clarity.

So, as long as there are no adverse reactions, I will be wearing this copper spiral as often as I can and I will be monitoring my own experience with it. After some time, I will share my personal experience here for those who are interested in hearing about it! Personally, I am so excited to have the chance to experience it myself and to share it with others. Above all, I am looking forward to this incredible healing experience and I am hoping to do a lot of healing while on this journey.

If you have any experiences with copper or spirals, I would love to hear your stories!

As with all things metaphysical, health, wellness, etc., this is not medical advice, this is purely my own experience in life. Metals, crystals, etc. have a different affect on everyone and if you choose to wear copper, you do so at your own risk.
